Status dead
Type of Debris whole body
Comments Seagull was dead on the surface

Through high winds coming from the North West, it brings in the debris from outer sea

Oil lumps that have heated up and stuck together..

Oil lumps

Polystyrene pieces

Plastic fragments, very small

Much of the debris was blown in from the open sea and finds itself trapped in the Blue Hole

The oil lumps were difficult to remove as they were partly hard and partly fluid. In the end we resorted to using small nets
