no

fishing line as we have alot of local fisherman using lines to catch reef fish which gets caught in the coral and they cut it free leaving most of it including hooks tangled in the reef

fishing hook that stay in the fish as they escape

cut fishing nets

This dive was specifically to collect fishing line as it is a constant problem in our area where local fisherman still line fish from the coral reef tops. We have found it safer and easier to dedicate 1 dive to just tackling fishing line and take wooden blocks to wrap the fishing line and hooks around keeping divers safe from entanglement.
