This Clean up 16 March was for the Save Koh Tao Festival Clean up and a combined island clean up event where several schools participated in the land and underwater clean up. Sunshine Divers and Bans Diving Resort chose Lighthouse bay for the clean up as it is our Adopt the Reef site. We did clean up also the beach area near lighthouse and items were not included in this data but with the land and underwater clean up a total of 60.5 kg was collected. On the beach land clean up there was a lot of plastic bottles and wrappers too, along with foam and insulation, and several clothing items.
