Took me just two minutes to remove this nasty piece of fishing wire from my favourite dive site Deep Turbo. Reminded me that it's true to say 'every little counts'. There's so much waste in our oceans it can often feel overwhelming and a little depressing. But every piece we pick up on our dive truly does make a difference: it's one less fish hooked on a wire, one less turtle eating a plastic bag, one less shark tangled and stuck....

I will continue to remind all my students and fun divers of this: together we CAN make a difference!!
