It was a global, round-the-clock celebration on 8th June, World Oceans Day, when Project AWARE launched a stronger action plan for the ocean. 

Project AWARE, hundreds of PADI staff and divers partied in the U.S., U.K., Switzerland and Australia. We held ocean-themed competitions, enjoyed cake emblazoned with the new AWARE logo and toasted to the next 20 years of ocean protection.
