A great lecture about the EMP program was held by Caroline Leuba from CO-exist at BANS IDC classroom last 9th of March. Sunshine Divers and BAN's DMT's joined in for the information night which gave them an insight about the Ecological programs held on Koh Tao.

The EMP program (Ecological Monitoring Program and Adopt The Reef) is a course designed to give experienced divers an opportunity to learn about coral reefs, perform a reef check and contribute to the databse used to monitor Koh Tao's coral reefs. The course teaches students how to use real world scientific sampling and survey techniques and certifies them to conduct their own surveys and report data back to the online database.
