To make people all over the world more aware of protecting Sharks, Project Aware created two sharks - FIN and FINLEY, who have been traveling the world. Finley left on the 28th June 2011 from the Dominican Republic through Paris, Bangkok, (in the cockpit of Air France) and ventured through Chumphon finally reaching Koh Tao where she started work immediately.

Firstly visiting Ban's Diving Resort, on Sairee Beach, she then made her way to ChalokBaan Kao to experience an EFR, Rescue and Oxygen Provider Course with Instructor Tamara and students Todd and Katherine. More importantly, she was introduced to the local people of the island, and the new generation. Here she made an impression on young TeahTeah, who we hope will be educated on how to preserve the reefs of Koh Tao along with protecting the Sharks and many other aquatic life.

Thanks to our Save Koh Tao foundation we have been able to educate the local community on several aspects on preserving the marine life of Koh Tao.
