After a couple of weeks of steady rain, the last two days it has been torrential !! Result – all the local streams and rivers running down from the mountains to the sea have bought with them loads of rubbish !  We`re fairly busy with an IDC this week, but nevertheless, three of us managed to collect 235 assorted plastic bottles and tin cans washed up on the beach – and a broken motorcycle crash helmet and the back of a TV ……………..!!
