Western Academy of Beijing Students' Coral Reef Conservation Project

updates
Now this is what I'm talking about: students at Western Academy of Beijing chose coral reef conservation as the subject for their fifth grade project. One of the girls, Lauren, did her PADI Open Water Diver course with me, so it's nice to see her take a continuing interest in conserving coral reefs.   WAB is such a great school and I've had the pleasure of teaching a number of their parents, students, and teachers how to dive.   The guiding question of their research is "In what ways can people make a difference?" Using the Project AWARE Coral Reef Conservation specialty course curriculum, I hope to show them exactly that: that people can have a positive impact on coral reef health, and how to do that.    Read more about their project on their blog.
