After being encouraged for years to blog by Beijing Boyce, I will start putting all of my scuba-shark-environmental posts here, and then reposting them to social media. I hope people find them informative and useful.

Following our Dive Against Debris here in Beijing on March 14, I've really started to look at every piece of plastic that I buy or handle, knowing that while I hope it will be recycled, it won't be reused, and it will likely end up in water. Our Dive Against Debris showed that, and so did this article. Seeing that mannequin head reminded me of the three full mannequins we found at the bottom of "The Well" where the clean-up took place.

Our next Dive Against Debris will take place July 4-5 at the Underwater Great Wall in Hebei province. I'll post full details here shortly.
