Finley is officially in new hands! CDTC and then Koh Tao, Thailand!
To make people all over the world more aware of protecting in the Sharks, Project AWARE created two sharks, Finn and Finley.
Finley's first stop after starting in Sydney, Australia was the PADI Course Director Training Course (CDTC) in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. During the Project AWARE presentation Finley was well introduced by Suzanne Pleydell and what an inspiration it was for all 42 candidates of the CDTC... Then in the end it came;... Mike Holme (PADI Asia Pacific) announced that Finely's next stop will be at Ban's Diving Resort on Koh Tao, Thailand. I can't tell you the honor is was to officially get Project AWARE's Finley handed over by Mike Holme in the presentation room.....
So here Finley's journey starts in my hands close to the end of the of the Dominican republic... O_o the pressure builds.... :)
Finley started to join the IDC Presentation evaluation after the Project AWARE presentation on the 27th of June 2011, then the next day Finley went with us on the last day of the CDTC Open Water section. Tomorrow the last day will come for the PADI CDTC and Finley will have a party, and then she will be the first shark to travel in the cockpit of Air France to Paris and then next stop: Koh Tao!
