Competition winners from Regents International School, Pattaya, primary section

updates

We at Shark Guardian have been overwhelmed with the amazing competition entries from Regents International primary school! Lots of posters, some videos and a song - what a tough decision it has been to choose some winners! The aim was for children to get creative and come up with a way to stop friends and family from eating shark fin soup - we think they have done just that!

The overall winner is a song by Year 4 pupils Vicky, Jorden and Ashleigh, a catchy tune that gets you caring about sharks in a fun way whilst sending out messages of how important sharks are for our oceans!

In second place we loved a lego video by Year 5 pupils Andrew, Alana, David and Andre. The time, effort and creativity for this video is so very impressive and we think it portrays the understanding of our younger generation and the simple message: shark fin soup is bad for us!!

Finally we loved a poster by Marianna in Year 3 so much we had to give a big well done to her as the third place winner. The information she has presented highlights multiple messages of why we must care for our sharks and is simple and effective.

A big well done to all the teachers and students at regents, Pattaya, for supporting this competition. We will announce more winners over the next 2 weeks and then we have the tough job of choosing an overall winner!
