Last Friday, on 30th October 20 green volunteers arrived at Oceans 5 in the harbour of Gili Air, Lombok and attended the Beach Clean Up briefing. We had avery special guest this week!! My Mother who is spending some time on the island. 

4 teams were made and everyone picked up some gloves and a bag and spread out on 1.5 Km of beach front covering most of the southern coast of the island.  

Within an hour, the teams picked up about 50kg of all sorts including a lot of plastic and netting. 

Next week, if the conditions permit we will intend to do a Dive Against Debris in the harbour, so watch this space and see you then.
