The first Clean Up of 2016 was a Double one: Underwater and on land Clean Up!!!

The Oceans 5 Green Warrior team joined up again on 11th January 2016 to collect rubbish in the harbour of Gili Air, Lombok, Indonesia.

As usual, an indepth briefing explaining what to take and how was given and the volunteers picked up their bags and gloves before they headed off on their task. 

For the underwater Reef Clean Up, 3 teams of 3 to 4 buddies spread out throughout the shallow part of the Harbour and picked up an amazing 66Kg of plastic and general rubbish landed there from the Lombok rivers after the big rains.

On land, the Greem warriors managed to pick up 30Kg of Rubbish!!!  Again a lot of plastic, cigarette buts and drifted material from the main island.
