Hawksbill Turtle Nest @ Harbour Village Beach Club Bonaire

updates

We had the pleasure of having a Hawksbill Turtle come up on the beach at Harbour Village Bonaire where I work in June to lay her eggs.  The last time this happened was 17 years ago. Therefore, it is possible that this adult was part of that nest all those years ago.  Really cool!

Although I was not present to see the event some of our securty staff where here and luckily managed to capture the event and call the Sea Turtle Conservation Bonaire people to come and check it out.

Obviously this has caused us a great deal of excitement since June.
