OBJECTIVES/ INFO:
- Join our quarterly UW photo contest on Facebook for a good cause! Great prizes to win every quarter! The objective is to preserve our ocean by showcasing the wonderful marine life through underwater photography and to support Project Aware Foundation.

- Themes and prizes with a total value exceeding USD $30,000! Prizes are to be updated, keep checking.

- Prize can be one or several items combined. 

- Prizes must be claimed within 30 days of notification. Failure to do so may result in prizes being returned to sponsors and/or re-entered for subsequent contests.

- Consolation prize; runner up and 3rd prize winners win various fantastic products.

- Scuba Symphony team will judge the contest. Scuba Symphony staff and their Facebook Page administrators are not allowed to participate.

- The winning photos will be displayed at Scuba Symphony showroom, website and Facebook for the preceding quarter.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE?

- To participate, email us your best shot in jpg, size not larger than 500KB, to [email protected]. Only one photo/per person according to the theme, it's that simple!

- Participation is by making a COMPULSORY donation of min. AUD $15.00 (donate more if you like) at http://www.everydayhero.com.au/scubasymphony

- A min. of 10 submissions per contest must be reached for the contest to be judged and prizes to be given away. 

- Donations are non-refundable and non-transferable to other persons and subsequent contests should be previous contest fail to reach the minimum submissions.

- You don’t need a Facebook account to join, simply email us your photo and donation receipt. You may also pay directly to us and we’ll enter the donation for you.

- By joining this contest, participants agree to abide by our terms and conditions (T&C) as stated here. T&C and prizes may change from time to time as prizes keep coming in and certain requests by sponsor has to be followed. Do keep checking back here for updates.
- A min. of 10 submissions per quarter must be reached for the contest to be judged and prizes to be given away. 
- The original high res version of the winning photo/s with EXIF data may be requested by us to verify its authenticity.
- Winning photographers must provide real name and contact details to receive the prizes.
- Standard editing ie cropping, saturation, sharpening, backscatter removing is allowed
- We reserve the right to change the quarterly theme, T&C and prizes as deemed necessary.
- Prizes are final by last day of the 3rd month for each quarter and cannot be exchanged for anything else.
- Any photo hinting repositioning of marine life from its natural environment will be disqualified.
- Quarterly prizes vary every month and will be announced under the corresponding event. Prizes are useful products, courses, dive packages, etc related to underwater photography.
- Most prizes are ex our showroom, if shipping is required from Malaysia or directly from the sponsor's location, the charges are to be borne by the winners. Please contact us with your full address, tel no and we'll ship with to you with the most reliable courier possible at winner's costs.
- Prizes must be claimed within 30 days from notification. Failure to do so will result in the prizes being re-entered for subsequent contest or returned to the sponsors.
- Anyone at any level ( pro and amateur) can participate, scuba divers and non-alike, as long as your photo in underwater and corresponds with the quarterly theme.
- Scuba Symphony staff and their Facebook Page administrators are not allowed to participate.
- Contest starts at 1.00am on 1st of the month and ends at 11.45pm on the last day of the 3rd month, according to Malaysia time zone (GMT+8)
- Winners will be announced on the 5th of the following month after the contest has ended.
- Winner may participate in subsequent contests for consolation prize only, 1st prize can only be awarded to the same person once a year.
- Scuba Symphony and prize sponsors may use submitted images for promotion purpose, as well as to promote subsequent contest in the same format in the following year. That limits the usage of the images for a period of max. 2 years. Photo credit will be mentioned. Any further usage of the photo (regardless low or high res) will be negotiated with the photographer directly.
- Scuba Symphony and prize sponsors will not be held responsible for any 3rd party misuse of submitted contest photos.
