As with every previous year Scuba Cat organised a 'Clean Up' weekend at RachaYai on the last weekend of the September.

This year the clean up also marked the retirement of MV Scuba Cat our Liveaboard which has been based in both Similan Islands in the winter and RachaYai in the Summer.

For the Clean up we had 10 volunteers from the International School in phuket, 3 teachers and 7 students, the "We Freedive" team, and Mike and Marla who support the event every year, along with the Scuba Cat staff.

The event was co-ordinated on the boat by Sue who made sure everyone had plenty of fun as well as collecting rubbish from ocean.

Finds this year included a lot of fishing nets and weights, some plastic mats and a sunken canoe!! among the normal bottles and plastic.
