Following realising that the strong winds we have had over the past couple of weeks have caused build ups of debris (sadly mainly garbage and plastic) to accumulate on the beach last week we organised a huge clean up. It was great to see that so many people joined!! Not just dive centers and divers but also hotel owners and staff, restaurant workers and lots of people both local and foreign who wanted to help. A big, big thank you to everyone!! It made a huge difference - hopefully this is something we can continue to do to help keep trash out of the ocean and also to inspire people living and working on other islands to do the same. Remember that anything you pick up off the beach means less debris on your dive sites!
