World Wildlife Day! . . . and a trip to PADI HQ

Selfie
updates

I find it interesting when the stars align . . . whether deliberately planned (perhaps), coincidence (likely) or fate (hopefully!) my first visit to PADI HQ in Bristol for the IDC Staff Instructor update coincided with "World Wildlife Day!" . . . what better place to be than at the Head Quarters of the organisation trying its hardest to raise awareness of the fragility of the oceans and help promote its conservation. Even the staunchest of cynics would struggle to avoid any pangs of concern when faced with the facts of whats happening to the worlds oceans, faced with the looming prospect of their potential collapse . . . its reassuring that the enthusiam and passion PADI HQ team have will hopefully trickle through Instructors on to students and hopefully we can turn the tide . . . .  (pun intended)

A brief chat with Domino Albert, Project Aware Manager & New Media Specialist, hits home . . . although on World Wildlife Day most people will be more focussed on Tigers, Pandas and the big land stuff . . . . unfortunately more and more marine life if joing the ever increasing list of endangered species . . . its alarming that people do not seem aware that the loss of some key marine life could collapse the Oceans and effect many land animals . . . Humans included!
