I just took the leap into the online MY OCEAN on the PADI Project Aware Website.   I have resisted getting into up until now because, quite frankly, I was too busy living life to sit at a computer and write it down.  My blogs end up being that way.... brief explainations into the projects and dives that I have done. 

Almost every dive is one that I collect trash and make sure that I leave the underwater environment better than I left it.  The thing about Great Lakes and inland lake diving is that the "trash" is some of the interesting stuff.  So we remove rubbish, hazards to the environment and the occasional bottle.  Leaving shipwrecks, cars and other submerged artifacts intact.  I tend to pick up a lot of baggies, water bottles and solo cups but this will be the first foray into logging the trash.  Hope you enjoy following my blog.
