Whale Sharks Stranded At Central Java

There were two strandings reported at the Central Java area of Bantul Regency near Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

The first one was on Tuesday and found dead on the beach, and another one last night and still alive. Rescue effort being conducted by Animal Friend Jogja, the army and communities to avoid killing and to be re-floated.

The first found whale shark's dead body has been secured by the government for scientific and edu-tourism purpose.
