Another week of survey dives

updates

Another week has passed by with some beautiful sunny days out on the sea, as well as a wet and rainy trip yesterday to the Phi Phi Islands!

Three new dive sites have been visited and monitored with the Dive Against Debris data card. One of the islands is very popular with tourist as it has a nice beach and is situated just a short boat ride away from mainland. Unfortunately this also cause amounts of debris to pile up on the beach and in the waters surrounding the island, especially in high season. We are looking forward to be monitoring this site throughout the year to help paint a better picture of the debris problem.

All thanks to the survey team - Constanze, Marit, Dominique and Alex - excellent work! And to Trice and Nicholas who helped us removing a large fish trap!
