CLEAN UP AMMO JETTY & ENJOY A BBQ TO BRING IN THE NEW YEAR!

Join the Perth Scuba Crew for a Wednesday Morning Shore Dive. Not all of us have hangovers on New Years Day and what better way to kick off the new year than with a refreshing shore dive and BBQ with your fellow divers - plus the whole family is welcome to join us!

The theme this year has been provided by one of our Manta Club Members Sarah Anderson who had this to say;
"After Sunday's dive at Ammo Jetty, Coogee, I was astonished at the amount of pollution that littered the seabed. I was thinking as a possible dive theme, with the club, to get everyone together for a Sunday dive but this time have the 'Clean Up Ammo Jetty' as the theme. All divers carry bags to collect the fishing wire and other pollutants that are currently littering the bottom of this dive site. We can make it a day of cleaning up and giving back to the environment." 

Perth Scuba is closed on New Years Day, so make sure you get your air fills or gear on Tuesday 31st December 2013 (we close at 6pm). We'll meet at the Ammunition Jetty Car Park, end of Nyyerbup Circle, Henderson at 10:00am and head in for a shore dive led by our Divemaster Sarah Toohey. Bring your catch bags (or onion bags), gloves and dive knife if you'd like to help us CLEAN UP AMMO JETTY and kick off the new year by doing something good for the environment.

After the dive we'll crank up the BBQ and have a sausage in a bun for lunch. Bring a drink or two to enjoy after our dive to celebrate the new year! Look forward to seeing you there!!!
