Virgin Active London Triathlon Results!

After taking part in my biggest challenge so far, the Olympic Distance Virgin Active London Triathlon on Sunday 31st July, my official time was recorded at 2hrs 59 mins and 23 seconds - just (and only just!) under my target time of 3 hours!!!

I managed the swim distance (1,500m) in a grueling 49 minutes, the bike (40k) in 1 hour 11 minutes, and finally the run (10k) in 53 minutes – all in some good old English summertime heat of 26oC.

Great news on the fundraising front; in the lead up to the big day I managed to get a good few more donations, which now brings my fundraising total up to £1,255 - and there's still more to come!
