Whats World Ocean Day without a reef clean up?

All the divemaster trainees, some guests and staff decided to organize a Reef clean up in the front of Oceans 5 dive resort, Gili Islands, Indonesia. The result was that 15 people joined the clean up and took a lot of rubbish out of the water. They all want that the reefs around the Gili Islands will be there when their children learn to dive.

Oceans 5 dive resort still organizes every week clean ups. These one are free and everyone can join, divers as non divers.

In the picture you see the last persons who came out of the water. They collected 4 bags of rubbish! Let hope that everyone is more careful about the environment.
