Oceans 5 dive resort organised another Beach and Reef clean up in the Harbor of Gili Air.

The last few week a lot of garbage floated around the Gili Islands. Nobody knows exactly where it comes from but the first thought is it comes from the rivers from Lombok after a heavy rain. A lot of this garbage ended up on the beaches of the Gili Islands or sunk on places where there was no current, like the harbor of Gili Air.

Oceans 5 organised a beach and reef clean up with their staff, steudents and fundivers and collected 6 heavy bags of rubbish. There is still a lot of work to do and if you want to join contact us at [email protected].
