Wreck Clean Up

updates

On the 5th of April 2012 we made our annual Reef clean up, this time with our Tin Mining Wreck which is here in Nai Yang Phuket.

This old Tin mining pontoon has been down there for about 40yrs gathering growth formations, with massive schools of fish taking refuge in and around this great dive site, with a depth of 16 meters is suitable for all levels of divers, we have stingrays, Ornate ghost pipefish, banded boxer shrimp, honeycomb morays, giant morays, huge lionfish, bearded scorpion fish, batfish, big schools of 5 line snapper and baracuda.

We make local halfday trips here everyday in high season Nov till May.

This year we managed to remove around 40 meters of trawling nets left by illegal fisherman as well as bottles, batteries and other rubbish with great success, a big thank you to all 8 divers for taking part.
