The Sevengill Tracking Project received a mention in the Sept. 2011 online edition of the Citizen Scientist section of Scientific American--I simply forgot to mention it here at the time:

Once this is done, citizen scientists can contribute their observation data, images and video to the organization's database, which is viewed by researchers as well as citizen scientists.
