I like to encourage all of my students and colleagues to support ocean protection through Project AWARE. At the Cozumel and Playa del Carmen IEs this month I feel very successful.

The total donations for the Cozumel IE was $550 and then donations for the Playa del Carmen event totalled $1040.

I gauge the success of my orientations with the percentage of candidates who donate.  This time, I even had 4 Course Directors giving donations and I almost got 95% to donate, so I feel I can safely say I was successful!

Thanks to all that help to protect our underwater environments. Every bit makes a difference.
