Dive Against Debris was a Great Success!

updates

We had a very successful Dive Against Debris here in Malapascua today.  Plenty of volunteers turned out to help us clear up one of our favourite dive sites, East Garden.

We managed to pick up 26 kgs of trash, ranging from playing cards and fishing line, to diapers and plastic water bottles.  We thought we had found someone's hair extensions, but in fact it turned out to be some decomposing palm leaf!

After the dive our volunteers enjoyed their refreshments and posed for photos.  And it was then on to the messy job of sorting and weighing all the rubbish.

I would like to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered their time and effort.
