The river Torrens

updates

The River Torrens is a clean and healthy environment bursting with marine fish, turtles and frogs. Back in the day the River Torrens was non other than Adelaides sewer- it was filled with stinky black filthy water and very little vegetation growing / still left. It is a gateway for ocean fish that need to come to the river to breed. The River Torrens is named after Robert Torrens. On the weekend there was a Bioblitz where people could come and learn about the now clean and healthy river and marine life. I learnt an interesting fact that frogs are mostly made up of water. I was very happy to see the healthy frogs, bugs, birds and marine life. I hope it stays this way.
