Saturday's Dive Against Debris Project Aware specialty course and event were a resounding success!  The divers hauled almost 40 lbs of debris from Lake Millbrook!

Who would have thought there was an empty and rusting helium tank in our local diving site?  Blech.  Our divers also brought up the kitchen sink...literally -- or at least a bathroom sink.  

Our divers also must have thought that we were in need of a metal grate in order to grill for Aquatoberfest, because they found one of those as well.  Fortunately, however, our grill was in working order, and the grill meisters were in control without needing the one from the quarry!

Many thanks to Rich, Ryan, and John for helping clean up Lake Millbrook.  I hope you enjoyed the day as much as I did.  :)
