What a great day! More than 60 volunteer divers joined together to clean up the rubbish dumped from land and from boats around the harbor in Nynashamn, Sweden. 50 large bags kindly donated by BIG BAG AB were ready to be filled with the rubbish collected by the participating divers. The underwater debris data collected as part of the global Dive Against Debris survey will go a long way towards showing the type and amount of debris that divers find beneath the waves. The wet weather failed to dampen the spirits of all the divers and organisers and fun was had by all. The event drew a lot of attention.
