Say No to Plastic Bags

updates

Downbelow Marine and Wildlife Adventures, Malaysia held a cleanup in November 2010 month at Gaya Island with one very clear message “ Say No to Plastic Bags”. With help from the Asian Tourist International College the group of 30 volunteers collected 280 Kilograms of plastic, 10 kilograms of plastic bottles and 89 kilograms of tyres.

Eveyln Bernadinus, of Downbelow said, “The next time you shop, don't leave the store carrying a plastic bag. If everyone did this, one of the most lethal polluters created by man would be removed.”  The team also donated AU$420 to Project AWARE Foundation.
