The Ocean Film Festival Australia toured the country in March with Project AWARE dive centres and volunteers attending screenings across the country. A big thanks to the Festival organiser Jemima of Adventure Reels for choosing Project AWARE and donating $1 of ticket sales to marine conservation alongside Australian Marine Conservation Society.

AWARE and AMCS are working on the Save our Marnie Life Campaign to keep marine sanctuaries in place and members of the Boomerang Alliance advocating for a National Container Deposit Scheme. It was great to catch up with Ivan Macfayden who spoke at a number of shows about his journey ......

Project AWARE encouraged everyone to ditch single use plastic and containers in favour of reusable items and of course get involved with Dive Against Debris or local cleanups. If you haven't signed yet - sign the petition for a National Container Deposist Scheme today!
