Big up to Pedro for his Humanrace Sprint Triathlon this weekend!

updates

Pedro Mendes is one of our fantastic volunteers. He came along to help us at the London International Dive Show and is constantly working hard to fundraise for Project AWARE. And when I say working hard, I mean working hard!

He has been undergoing some rather intense training regimes, in activities that he has never done before, and then he has dived right in and entered himself into a number of sporting events over the course of the year (gulp!).

So far this year, he has suffered an extreme off road adventure race, putting himself through the same paces as a marine! He has sprinted in triathlons and has tasked himself on lots of challenges to ensure he raises funds for the protection of our ocean planet.

This weekend, he is taking part in the Eton Humanrace Sprint Triathlon and will also challenge himself to the Virgin Active London Triathlon next month!

He will end the year with another Grim Challenge and hopes to raise £2000 for Project AWARE from all of his efforts.

So far, he has raised £835.48 with his biggest donation from STA Graydon of £100! A massive thank you to STA Graydon for their valuable support and to everyone that have contributed towards his target goal!

You can keep track of Pedro’s donations and sporting challenges at http://www.justgiving.com/Pedro-Project-AWARE/

Good luck Pedro and thank you for dedication to Ocean Protection!
