Contrary to popular beliefs, Singapore, known to be a Sunny Island, does not have clear waters and beautiful beaches everywhere. However, we are still proud of our dive sites as they are home to a diverse group of marine life. 

Through my years of teaching, I realized that it can be very intense to organize massive beach cleanups with much to coordinate and it can be resolved through a simple but effective method.

Divers dive around the world all the time, everywhere and anywhere. We are large in numbers. What if, we pick up litter as we dive and remove them from our Ocean? Just a small piece of plastic from each diver, from every dive, around the world for a year.... Imagine the amount of rubbish we can remove from the Ocean....

With my team in the dive shop, we pledge to educate new divers and experienced divers alike. We can make a difference by picking up litter as we dive. Of course we can still participate in massive beach/underwater cleanups, but this little effort of ours can contribute to a long term cause!
