Poni Divers Brunei & Jerudong International School (JIS) joined forces to run Brunei's first EVER Finathon event to raise awarness of shark finning.

It was an early start for the event, we were in the school swimming pool for 6am!! Over the next 12 hours we had a steady flow of students and teachers coming to join the 12 hour continuous swim. During the event there was always at least one person continually swimming, sometimes there were up to 20 people all swimming at the same time. It was a fantastic day which helped raise awarneess of Shark Finning along with raising $637 for a great cause! 

We are lucky to have a great relationship with JIS and hope not only to continue to offer dive training to the students and teachers but further our relationship by running regular Project AWARE events along with environmental talks and raising awareness of how important the marine world is!
