The Dive Center offers the full range of PADI programs ranging from entry level to instructor level training options and is one of the largest PADI certifiers within Indonesia. As well as offering the general range of PADI Instructor training options the dive center is always happy to have new instructor’s team teaching alongside the experience and well-seasoned team of PADI Scuba Diving Instructors working at Trawangan Dive, providing our IDC graduates the best possible transition into teaching life.

The Instructor Development Course is entirely conducted by Platinum PADI Course Director Holly Macleod, who has a global reputation for success and excellence and has trained instructors worldwide. Having previously won multiple awards for her program and her personal commitment to the industry, including PADI “commitment to instructor development” award, the “Elite PADI Instructor 300” Award and of course obtaining Platinum PADI Status.

In addition to the obvious benefits of first class training and support, candidates can also take part in a vast array of environmental projects that operate at Trawangan Dive including the Biorock Indonesia programs which run in conjunction with the Gili Eco Trust; Biorock Indonesia have devised a range of courses and workshops that build, maintain and develop the huge amount of Biorock structures scattered around the Gili Islands. The Dive center also works closely with Bali Sharks and conducts multiple Gili Islands Shark release events designed to re populate, rejuvenate and protect the shark populations around the Gili Islands. Trawangan Dive can often be seen hosting the Sea made weekly beach clean ups around Gili Trawangan.
