As part of the Geko Dive's commitment to conservation the staff visit local schools to talk about marine debris and its impact on the environment. 

Using Project AWARE’s Marine Debris Fact Sheet and Decomposition Rates the kids guess how long it took for bags, cans and bottles to degrade.

The kids then did their own cleanup on the local beach and went home with important tips to protecting their environment.
