I’m excited about raising funds for Project AWARE and supporting the new goals for conservation.

First, in an effort to promote the AWARE certification cards, I have challenged the retail and instructional staff at A-1 Scuba to encourage students to get the AWARE version of their certification card (minimum donation $10). For each donation to Project AWARE, I’m going to match, dollar for dollar up to $1,000 for the contributions made by our students during the 4th quarter of 2011.   I'm already seeing a good increase in number of PIC online forms requesting the Project AWARE version of the certification card. I’m looking forward to writing a check to Project AWARE in January and I hope it’s for a full match of $1,000.
