Underwater Clean Up 11th July

updates

Evans Bay seems to be the site that rubbish gathers and each month Sea Shepherd do a beach clen up along this site - collecting over a dozen rubbish bags full of bottles, straws, food wrappers and so much more.

This month we decided to join them and collect rubbish from the sea floor. It was a sunny midwinters day as we descended and landed on a sofa cushion! We also collected glass bottles, 2 cans, 2 shoes and 1 sock, an extractor fan, a pen and some random plastic items.

Diving and making a difference at a local site is very rewarding and we look forward to joining Sea Shepherd again soon.
