Jellyfish surround campers underwater!

updates

It was spectacular to see so many jellyfish surround campers underwater during their PADI Open Water Diver course confined dive training!

In the shallow waters in front of our Downbelow premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre, Camps International adventurers’ learnt more than just the basics of safety in recreational scuba diving, but also the behaviorology of jellyfish!

High population numbers of this particular marine life species will usually be seen seasonally on/off throughout the year to spawn, and also occupy shallow and sandy areas, such as the sheltered bays around Gaya Island.

Lucky for the campers they had the opportunity to get up close and personal with such strange, yet beautiful creatures during their confined water dive training, and have a newfound respect for them and contribute to protect and preserve them as a result!
