A new initiative to integrate conservation efforts into our snorkel safari program, is getting a great start with the enthusiasm our clients display!

Project AWARE gifted us with a variety of products such as, mesh bags, mask straps and stickers, which our team of PADI professionals will be using to encourage their clients to adopt an environmentally caring approach in their daily activities.

Being tourists, one such contribution our clients can make, is to choose eco-friendly tours, packages, resorts, dive operations to support the ‘green’ efforts of these businesses.

Our own company is very pro-conservation and recognized for the positive impact on our local natural environment, and the first Dive Centre in Malaysia to be given the PADI Green Star Award to commemorate our commitment!

PADI professionals ‘Big Vic’ and ‘Big Mac’ conducted the snorkel safari recently and brought along a mesh bag each during the three sessions of the 1-Day program. During each briefing, they remind their clients on the most hazardous culprit in the local area: Marine Debris, and invite them all to contribute any effort to collect any they see to preserve beautiful Sabah!

Eventually, over time, the warm South China Seas will notice a marked difference and the coral will only get healthier to make our snorkel safari program even more amazing for our clients to enjoy!
