Sixteen-year-old Matthew, from the the UK, received the best work experience at a 100% Project AWARE Dive Centre!

Downbelow Marine and Wildlife Adventures’ premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre took Matthew under their supervision to give him a ‘taste’ of the professional scuba diving industry. He was especially inspired by the teams’ commitment to marine conservation within Kota Kinabalu and Sabah, and seeing the positive difference in the Tunku Abdul Rahman marine park!

Mornings at our paradise island beach house will involve a briefing of a dive site to visiting guests experiencing Downbelow’s daily leisure diving program or 1-day Snorkel Safari. Without fail, our PADI Instructors and Divemasters will remind participants to control their buoyancy underwater, not only for their own diver safety, but also to avoid any damage to the coral reefs.
