Sun shining to continue the diving dream!

updates

Living the diving dream means abating negative influences on the marine environment.

For the last week, Kota Kinabalu has experienced the passing of typhoons, which has gathered incorrectly disposed of litter to enter the seas and oceans.

Not controlling dive conditions is not a problem because we can adapt to the typically changeable Borneo weather as we always have and will in future, but it is in our control to dispose of our waste responsibly for the sake of environmental preservation.

With our next Instructor Development Course (IDC) looming closer and closer in time, our Go PRO interns are diligently committing themselves to contribute daily to conservation by assisting our Gaya Island staff team in collecting marine debris.

Professional dive training offered by our Go PRO team of PADI Instructor Trainers consists of inspiring the candidates to inspire their students in future with personal experience and knowledge of conservation! Practical experience is so valuable, which is why our Go PRO team encourage all divers, especially with a professional rating, to participate in the frequently conducted conservation projects at our Gaya Island beach house.

A dive operations’ passion to uphold environmentally responsible eco-tourism, and the continued efforts of the PADI professionals’ persevering attitude, will make the positive difference we strive for!
