New Year 2016 Net removal

updates

Yet again, Downbelow instructors found an illegally discarded ‘Ghost Net’ in‪ Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park.

This time it was in Turtle House dive site. Our Divemaster and Instructor Development Course participant Marion shared the experience as part of her internship program. Under Downbelow Marine and Wildlfe Adventures’ highly successful Go PRO program, Marion has experienced all the diver lifestyle has to offer. We continue to contribute to marine conservation by removing marine debris and prevent further damage to coral reefs while protecting the ‪environment.

This was our first ‪net removal of 2016 and we are sure it will not be the last. To date, the Downbelow crew has removed more than 150 discarded nets from our local area and we have no intention of stopping.
