Our island team organize beach clean-up before starting work!

updates

Protecting the environment from damaging factors is a passion that all our island staff team share; so much so, that many days begin with an early morning beach clean up of the Gaya Island shore in front our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre!

PADI professionals of the island staff team are particularly protective of environmental health and coincidentally it is a part of the code of conduct in the PADI Standards!

A few PADI courses and programs are to educate on the marine environment, with the intention of raising public awareness on the damaging effects of environmental hazards.

It is a formal performance requirement to be met that student divers must act in an environmentally friendly manner, giving due care to the fragile coral by securing equipment for example.

A PADI Instructors’ role is to teach others how to dive with sensitivity to the fragile coral reef. Our high standard in quality dive training is how we instill the confidence in student divers, and this achieves awareness for their safety, the safety of others and to conserve the natural world.

We regularly conduct programs to encourage others’ to protect our beautiful Borneo nature as we do! We know that it is easier be proactive in a team and we can organize large groups to visit our Gaya Island beach house.

Get in touch with our Head Office staff to arrange a suitable program to accommodate your Adventure Group in preserving our marine life with our island staff team!
