Being in a mangrove world is a privilege! 

There are numerous advantages to preserving mangrove areas. It is a breeding ground for many fish species' juveniles because of the protective cage-like structures of the mangrove tree roots, and because the swampy area offers a high concentration of nutrients that is recycled efficiently from the mangrove root system. 

Conducting a mangrove clean-up nearby our premier PADI 5 Star Dive Centre was a fantastic method for a large group of our friends from Kota Kinabalu's Hyatt Regency to learn more about our local environments' biodiversity and actively contribute to the protection of it!

All conservation projects organised in the TAR marine park by our island staff team includes all marine enthusiasts to get involved. Many corporate groups visit our paradise beach house in Sabah to enjoy the beautiful tropical setting and show their appreciation for it, by clearing as much harmful marine debris with us!

We think it might be time soon, to invite another group of environment-lovers to get together at our Dive Centre and help our marine environment! How about coral re-planting with our friends from Hyatt for the next conservation effort?
