Being the responsible Instructor for other Instructors!

updates

Being the responsible Instructor for other Instructors is Richard swann, our resident Platinum PADI Course Director, who guides 3 of our Go PRO interns to qualify in another Specialty Instructor course.

As a true marine activist, Richard conducts each and every PADI course and program with an emphasis on marine conservation for the value of learning any and every skill!

As part of their PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) internship, the candidates have learnt the value of learning the PADI Deep Diver Specialty Instructor course. Performance requirements include the correct dive management for a deep dive when setting up a pony bottle at 5 metres, so our Instructor candidates must be confident with the various knots that can be used to do this. If not, diver safety can be compromised, but so can the environment from poor planning and execution of a deep dive. Anchoring the navigational point is the most difficult, but Richard will choose an area known to be deep and without coral for our interns. Although in future they may skin dive, as Richard advises students before releasing the anchor or weight, to gauge themselves or use sonar!
